Thank you to everyone that showed interest in sending in an Outlaw car. We'll be in touch with details on where to send you car etc soon.
Ok, with the launch of the new Canyon Outlaws competition, it's time for our first driver call. The first chance at getting onto the list is the January opening - cars must be at the canyon by the 5th of Jan 2021. See the attached rules for how it works. You must be 13 or older to submit a car for the competition.
Entries for the first intake close Nov 27th 2020, with voting taking place (if needed) in the canyon FB group from the 28th-the 30th of Nov. Those that get the opportunity to enter a vehicle will be given the details of where to send their entries.
When you are sure you understand the rules, submit the details and photos of your ride in this forum only. If we get over 16 entries, then a vote will be taken to see who gets in. However, we reserve the right to refuse entry if we deem it doesn't fit within the rules. And remember, these vehicles are not returned.
Good luck.
1st Entry for list consideration.
Cat Pirate.
We will appear around the world.
We will steal your trophies.
We will knock your trophies off the shelf.
1985 Porsche 911 Ducktail (woohoo!).
We are looking for more American muscle cars in a patina/rat rod style but will consider it.
Got it running. Ready to travel.
Looking good. You know we love a classic Charger ;)
Here is my Tool Time Binford Rat Rod
Love it dude. That looks awesome, especially with the driver figure!
Desert Rat, 44g Rodger Dodger. [Edit: additional photos added]
Cool. Those Rodger Dodgers can be fast.
Hi,
Please let me know if these are viable entries into your series. I am new to the sport and not sure where to begin. Thanks for your assistance.
70 Dodge Daytona - 70g
68 Chevrolet Vega Wagon - 57g
Custom Volkswagen - 31g
38' Ford Coupe - 40g
I would say go with the Chevrolet wagon. The VW and Ford have a tendency to roll over in the first corner and the Daytona can struggle. Remember 50g max weight as well
Thanks, Tom. How do I know if I am picked as a driver for the next Canyon Outlaw race?
@Kiwayli Nealy What was your final entry? I don't recall seeing it here?
Beaverworx consideration for entry...
69 Chevelle SS (modified Real Riders "Real Racers")
50 grams
Looks awesome!
I would like to enter the Canyon Outlaws Competition with my '61 Impala. Still adding the final touches ...
Looks great!
Ok, my "Impalinator" weighs in at 40.56g. Check out diecastracing.ca <Garage> for behind the scenes pictures of this car.
Mock up. Still lots of work to
Ooh, Intereting to see if your 8 crate ute conversion works as well or better than Franks :)
Going to detail headlights and taillights but I think its

That's a better option! Nice.
Iβd like to sponsor my driver HawThenSung for the Canyon Outlaws, he drives a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner he calls βCoyote?β with the question mark... His words.
That is awesome. I love the damage and the dirty windshield!
Haha. Nice. Love the car
That is so awesome! Wow! LOL!π€£
Coal Hills Racing would like to submit Cave-In, a Ford coup driven by Bobby Ore.
Looks great
Presenting "Loosifer" a 71' Dodge Demon. Driven by "Bertross" for Gameover Racing built by "Bigg Bert's Speed Shop"
It looks great! Love those wheels.
Here is my '69 Cuda for consideration. Just pulled it out of the garage after a tune-up and new shoes. Definitely not a shelf queen. π
Haha - I see what you did there. Nice work.
I would like to put forward a tribute for Outlaw consideration...itβs stock right now, but should we be chosen I promise to make it look the part
The casting looks cool. It certainly would fit in at the canyon. Photo entries close this Friday so make sure you get it in before then.

Haha. Nice
Great name. lol
The Gator Hauler driven by legendary Jungle Jump race announcer, Ripper Jones.
No doubt tuned for optimum chaos on the Jungle Jump!
Oh you know it!
Remember kids. Drunk in charge of a gator is still drunk driving π
Good news guys! If your vehicle was manufactured more than 20 years ago, it doesn't need to meet emission standards to be imported into New Zealand. If it was made after 1955, you will need seat belts!
You also don't need to convert it right-hand drive unless you are going to keep it there more than 12 months!

Hahaha. But as it's illegal street racing, you can do whatever you want anyway - you might just have to hide from the cops ;)
(Broken) Wings, driven by Griffin Cross of LionHawk Racing.
Great. Thanks
The driver call for Jan 2020 is now closed.
